Oh boy, do I have a treat for you. My latest guest is Alexander Cheves — sex writer, sex worker, sex educator, and author of My Love is a Beast: Confessions — who very fittingly goes by @badalexcheves on social media.
Alex stopped by the podcast to give an arousing primer on fisting (and he did!), but this episode is so much more than that.
In addition to fisting 101 tips, Alex shares his experiences coming out to his Christian missionary parents, living with HIV in a post-PrEP world (vs. in the 80s or even ten years ago), how a school assignment gave him his start as a sex writer, his lowkey journey to becoming a sex worker, and some of the stories he wrote in his gorgeous, aching memoir “about his butthole” (his words). We also discuss tips for exploring kink, how the pandemic shifted his thoughts about his sexuality (this revelation is fascinating), and why he recently moved to Berlin, Germany.
I love how we touched on several commonly held taboos in this interview, yet the conversation serves as an effective myth-buster. Alex also has a sexy voice and is incredibly comfortable with his sexuality and talking about it. It's pretty hot if you're into that sort of thing…
